Sara

Hello, I’m Sara, and I’m excited to be part of the Howard County Animal Hospital team as a Veterinary Tech Assistant. I have a Ph.D. in Immunology, which has given me a strong foundation in biology, disease, and the science behind animal health. As I work toward applying to veterinary school, I’m grateful for the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting and learn from the amazing veterinary professionals around me.

My passion for animals began at a young age, especially through my love of horses. Horses have always held a special place in my heart and have taught me so much about patience, trust, compassion, and the importance of understanding an animal’s individual needs. My experiences with horses helped inspire my desire to pursue a career where I can combine my love for animals with my passion for science.

With my background in immunology and my growing experience in veterinary medicine, I hope to continue developing the skills needed to become a compassionate and knowledgeable veterinarian. I find great fulfillment in caring for animals, supporting their owners, and helping patients feel safe and comfortable throughout their time at the hospital.

I am dedicated to the well-being of every animal in my care and look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and contribute to the health and happiness of our patients.
