Hi, I’m Lauren! I’m a vet assistant with a B.S. in animal behavior and two years of hands‑on experience across shelter work, emergency medicine, feline‑only care, and now here at Howard County Animal Hospital's dog‑and‑cat practice. I grew up in Ellicott City, and it means a lot to me to be able to give back to this community that shaped my love for animals.



I’ve always been drawn to wildlife, specifically birds. I love setting up trail and bird feeder cameras to track local species and learn how they move through our shared environment. I also keep and care for fish. Studying and watching animals over the years has given me immense appreciation for their subtle behaviors.



As someone who experiences the same love for animals as our clients do for their pets, I am dedicated to helping preserve the pet-owner bond.
